The hearing will commence:OCTOBER 18, 2017 AT 9 A.M.CHEYENNE BUSINESS CENTER ROOM 11411510 EAST PERSHING BLVDCHEYENNE, WYOMING 82002The Workers' Compensation Division of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services asserts for2018 the overall change to employers' Workers' Compensation Industry Base Rates should be 0.0% whencompared to the overl Industry Base Rates approved by the Department of Workforce Services thatbecame effective January 1, 2017. Under said proposal, individual industry base rate classifications mayincrease by up to 14.9%, or decrease by up to 14.8%, compared to the industry base rates charged in 2017.In addition to the proposed change in Industry Base Rates, individual employers' premium rates mayfurther increase or decrease depending on individual experience rating, implementation of an approvedsafety program, participation in the department's deductible program, or participation in the department'sdrug and alcohol testing programUpon written application, a more definite and detailed statement of the Divisions recommendationson the proposed Industry Base Rates will be furnished. A more definite and detailed statement will alsobe listed on the department's web site after August 27, 2017 at: http://www.wyomingworkforce.org/. Anelectronic copy of the actuarial reports used to arrive at the average Industry Base Rate will be availableupon request by contacting the division at (307) 777-6763.
